2 packages (3.4 ounces each) of instant vanilla pudding mix
2 boxes of white or yellow cake mix
Eggs, oil, and water (as per cake mix instructions)
4 cups of milk
Assorted food coloring (for Easter colors)
Whipped cream or frosting
Assorted Easter candy or sprinkles for decoration

Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven according to the cake mix instructions.

Prepare Cake: Follow the instructions on the cake mix boxes to prepare the batter, using two 9×13-inch baking pans. Bake according to package instructions and let cool completely.

Make Pudding: In a bowl, whisk together the instant vanilla pudding mix and milk until smooth. Divide the mixture into several bowls and add food coloring to each bowl to create pastel colors.

Poke Holes: Once the cakes are cooled, use the end of a wooden spoon or another tool to poke holes evenly across the surface of each cake.

Add Pudding: Pour the colored pudding mixtures over the cakes, making sure to fill the holes and cover the surface evenly.

Chill: Refrigerate the cakes for at least 1-2 hours to allow the pudding to set.

Decorate: Once chilled, top the cakes with whipped cream or frosting. Decorate with assorted Easter candy or sprinkles to create a festive Easter design.
