•Ingredients:

1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1 cup all-purpose flour
6 large apples, peeled, cored, and thinly sliced
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1 cup old-fashioned oats
1 cup packed brown sugar
1/2 cup unsalted butter, cold and cut into small cubes
Pinch of salt

•Instructions:

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a deep dish baking pan with butter or cooking spray.
In a large bowl, combine the sliced apples, granulated sugar, lemon juice, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Toss until the apples are evenly coated. Transfer the apple mixture to the prepared baking pan, spreading it out evenly.
In another bowl, mix together the flour, oats, brown sugar, and a pinch of salt. Add the cubed butter and use your fingers or a pastry cutter to blend the mixture until it resembles coarse crumbs.
Sprinkle the crumb mixture evenly over the apples in the baking pan.
Bake in the preheated oven for 40-45 minutes, or until the topping is golden brown and the apples are tender when pierced with a fork.
Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving.
