Cherry Cheesecake Oreo Delight

8 oz cream cheese, softened
1 cup powdered sugar
1 14-oz bag of golden Oreos, processed into crumbs
1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, melted
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 cup heavy cream
1 can (21 oz) cherry pie filling


In a medium-sized bowl, combine the Oreo crumbs and melted butter until well mixed.
Press the mixture evenly into the bottom of a 9×13-inch baking dish to form the crust. Place in the refrigerator to chill while preparing the filling.
In a large bowl, beat the cream cheese until smooth. Add the powdered sugar and vanilla extract, and beat until combined and creamy.
In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form.
Gently fold the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture until fully incorporated.
