•Ingredients:

4 cloves garlic, minced
2 teaspoons dried thyme
2 teaspoons dried rosemary
1 (3 to 4-pound) chuck roast or top round roast
2 tablespoons olive oil
Salt and pepper to taste
2 teaspoons paprika
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 cup beef broth or red wine (optional)

•Instructions:

Preheat your oven to 325°F (165°C).
Rub the chuck roast or top round roast with olive oil and season generously with salt and pepper.
In a small bowl, mix together the minced garlic, dried thyme, dried rosemary, paprika, onion powder, and garlic powder to create a flavorful seasoning blend.
Rub the seasoning mixture evenly over the surface of the roast, ensuring it is well-coated on all sides.
Place the seasoned roast in a roasting pan or oven-safe dish.
If using beef broth or red wine, pour it into the bottom of the roasting pan.
Cover the roasting pan tightly with aluminum foil.
Roast the beef in the preheated oven for 3 to 4 hours, or until the meat is fork-tender and easily pulls apart.
Remove the foil during the last 30 minutes of cooking to allow the roast to develop a flavorful crust.
Once cooked to your desired doneness, remove the roast from the oven and let it rest for 10 to 15 minutes before slicing.
Slice the roast thinly against the grain and serve hot with your favorite sides.
